Because of the contrast between sun and shade, some of the family members were difficult to see, so the first thing I did was to even-out the lighting.

The youngest member of the family was not as photo-ready as the rest of the them. Mom provided me with another photo of the youngster, and I was able to use it to change the position of her head. That's not always possible, but it's wonderful when it works!

 

Finally, I removed the guy on the riverboat in the background. There's no need to have photo-bombers lurking in your memories.
